Closing Event: BioInnovation & INP Valorisation – Namibia

Closing Event: BioInnovation & INP Valorisation – Namibia

On 2 October 2025, during the Agricultural Fair at the Windhoek Agricultural Showground, we celebrated a milestone for biodiversity, community, and innovation – thank you to all our partners, speakers, and participants who made this event possible!

  • Great achievements are made together: through collaboration between government, institutions, partners, and Indigenous communities.

  • ABS (Access and Benefit‑Sharing) is essential for fair participation and sustainable development.

  • Strengthening bioproducts and the value chains of Indigenous Natural Products (INPs) can simultaneously support environmental protection, economic opportunity, and social development.

  • We celebrate women in biodiversity: for example, in the success story of the Eudafano Women’s Co‑operative Project: over 2,500 women who can now benefit from biodiversity‑based ventures through the Marula value‑chain.
